Uddami Friktotum / Arcs
Less so Arcs, but more so ideas for plot points (?)
- Jean being a Nemesis-like entity: An intelligent-but-severely-subservient strong undead, doing the master's bidding (or some equivalent).
- Sam being alive but deeply weathered by a rough life. Perhaps not being the boy she remembers - even if she wants to think otherwise.
- Saundra being sympathetic to her cause, possibly the reason Sam lived.
- Her former master playing the long game: Rather than capturing & torturing/killing her, the goal is to make her go mad and be destroyed by her own actions once that happens. It's already known where she is and what she's doing. Bits of chaos to muddle her plans each step of the way are being sent bit-by-bit.
- A friend in danger, or turned traitor, or to be avenged.
More-so actual Arcs
Spy-turned-Grifter
- Survival Phase; just trying to get by and play to the crowd; what she starts out as, essentially: At a low point in her life. Trying to get a plan going to be more than that. The Gilded Cage
- Growth Phase; realizing that she might have finally found a way to change her fortune, she begins scheming grander designs. Attaining political power or equivalent.Arcane Revelation
- Consolidation Phase; now that she has a foundation, and with it (hopefully) power & security - something she's lacked for such a long time - she finally dreams of righting the wrongs of her past, but also, understanding herself better. Which, for her, means exploring why she has her powers (and any potential ramifications of the answer to that question, as it pertains to her masters reasons for choosing her).Strife's End
- Execution Phase; this one is hard to define since it's so far along in the narrative. The outcome of prior arcs would help determine this one's focus & such. Possibly dealing with the master, if that's relevant. Or saving any family she has remaining, if that's relevant. Or affirming her prominence as a mage, etc. The idea being that she would affirm her identity at this point, but what that identity looks like will determine who she's interacted with, who has influenced her, and so on, up to this point.
